Cousin Time Thanksgiving 2006

Aunt Doug is amazing! She was all smiles and we had such a good time visiting with her. She just celebrated her 97th? birthday on November 10.

Carol Minton came on her lunch hour, and we missed getting her picture!

Sorry Carol!

We had a special treat because Melanie Wells was working at Aunt Doug's home, and we got the blessing of her company also.

Patsy is such a good daughter! She keeps Aunt Doug supplied with reading material, stories, and all kinds of stimulating things centigenerians like. (In case you don't recognize that word, it's because I made it up!)

We started at Cracker Barrel with Jack Holt the night before, visited Aunt Doug in her apartment and, and ended at Roger and Marylyn's house for slides from the 1960's.

Maria (Tipton) Farmer came down from E'ville to join the fun too. What a great surprise! Dot and Barbara (Shelton) Cotton we there all bright and cheery.

We talked and talked until late into the afternoon. Mickey and Cathy (Wells) Howard drove over from Bowling Green to add to our excellent afternoon.

Gayle and Annette can barely keep their eyes open because Steve Tipton kept them awake all night talking!!
Roger and Gayle Shelton found Mother Mal's old square tub washing machine at Papa Shelton's cannery building, and the big white stove that fed us all so well for all those years.

What a great visit we all had! Stories & memories, food & fun...
O.K. Cousins...let's get posting!!
